PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A strike has officially been called at all ports along the eastern United States, including in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA - Heavy truck traffic filled the Port of Philadelphia Monday afternoon, but come midnight, everything might come to a screeching halt. 

Longshoremen at ports along the East Coast and Gulf of Mexico could go on strike at midnight Monday. These workers load and unload shipping cargo, and without them, it’s a lot harder to get goods where they need to go in this economy.
