Theresa Roeder
Theresa M. Roeder earned her MS and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley, and BS and MS degrees in Management Science from Case Western Reserve University. She has been on the faculty of the Department of Decision Sciences at San Francisco State University since 2005, where she also currently serves as department chair. She was the Simulation Society representative to the Subdivisions Council from 2017 to 2024 and has been on the Sections and Societies Committee since 2020. She was the inaugural chair of the INFORMS Education Outreach Committee. She serves as trustee and volunteer faculty for Mount Tamalpais College, the only institution of higher education whose campus is inside a prison (San Quentin Rehabilitation Center). She was chair of the Board of Trustees 2021-2024.
