A Marketing Science study conducted by Yahoo! Research in partnership with a nationwide retailer explored the effects of online display advertising on both online and in-store purchases. The study authors found statistically significant evidence that the retailer ads increased sales 3.6% relative to the control group.

Carey School of Business, Professors Yili Hong and Zahongju Zhang, in conjunction with research associate Ziru Li, have conducted a study that explores the positive impact of ride-hailing services, including reduced traffic congestion, travel time, and gas expenses. They will be presenting their study at the INFORMS Annual Meeting in November.
